North Carolina Woodturners Symposium Update

The planning for the North Carolina Woodturners Symposium is well on the way.  It is scheduled for October 5th - 7th this year.  It is a replacement for the show that was previously held in Statesville NC on odd number years.  This will be a cooperative effort of 7 clubs from around the state.  They will include:

  • Gary Gardner - Natural Edge Bowls & Vessels
  • Alan Hollar - Finishing Turned Wood, Legged Vessels, Now You Have a Burl - What Next?

Joe Ruminski will be doing hands-on Demos for children on Sunday.

Alan Leland and Frank Penta will man a sharpening station at various periods throughout the symposium.

There are several vendors who have commited to having a booth at the show with several others who have expressed an interset but haven't been able to commit at this early date.
